Deepavali is brighter when we celebrate it together. This year, our team is preparing a special celebration bringing together our migrant brothers, families, and volunteers.
On 2 November, we will host a lunch made possible by people who chose to give with heart: Veeru Murugappan of Coromandel Productions, who sponsored thoughtful door gifts, and Mr G. Shanmugam of Gayatri Restaurant, who is sponsoring lunch for everyone.
We are excited to welcome Moulmein-Cairnhill friends from OMG (our migrant guests). To us, Deepavali is not just a festival of lights — it is a reminder that cultural festivities are among the most meaningful ways to build understanding across communities.
